BLOOD-STAINED FROG SHELL

Fairly common under dead coral and rubble deeper than 30 feet.  Shell stout, posterior canal short, aperture blue-white with black lines on columella.  Attains 2 inches, 50mm.  East Africa to Hawaii and the Tuamotus.  Formerly known as Bursa cruentata.
