CHECKERED
SEAGRASS NERITE
| A few individuals have been found in Hawaii feeding upon seagrass
Halophila on silty sand,
along with the native species. It
appears to be a recent colonization, likely transferred by boat anchors
from other island groups. Attains 0.2 inch, 6 mm. Reunion to French
Polynesia, and now Hawaii. |
