Common under stones and within algal mat in shallow water.  The presence of columellar folds distinguishes it from beachworn drupes.  Attains 1 inch, 25 mm.  South Africa to Japan, Hawaii, and the Tuamotus.  Formerly known as Vexillum (Pusia) cancellarioides.
