ELEVATED MITER
| Fairly common on reef benches and tidepools.
Stout, dull brown, smooth, with bluish white aperture,
outer lip thick. Attains 1.2 inches, 31 mm. South Africa to
Japan, Hawaii, and the Tuamotus. Formerly known as Mitra
(Strigatella) fastigium. |
