CROWNED MITER

Fairly common under dead coral or rubble deeper than 20 feet.  Dark brown with pitted spirals, white coronation, and light brown subsutural band, aperture brown.  Attains 1.5 inches, 35 mm.  Red Sea to Hawaii and the Marquesas.  Formerly known as Mitra (Nebularia) coronata.
