FALSE CUP-AND-SAUCER

Uncommon under rocks, generally deeper than 150 feet.  Conforms to shape of the substrate, sculpture, and color variable, with a 'U-shaped' internal cup below the apex.  Attains 1.8 inches, 40mm.  Warm latitudes of the Pacific, Indian, and Atlantic Oceans.
