Uncommon beneath
Rock-boring
urchins in shallow water exposed to surf. It is parasitic, sucking
bodily fluid from the host urchin. The shell is dull and fades
after death. Attains 1 inch, 25 mm. South Africa to Hawaii and the
Tuamotus. |
