BELLIGERENT DRUPE

Locally common in rocky crevices exposed to heavy surge between 10 and 20 feet.  Shell  heavily encrusted with coralline algae, aperture pale orange.  Attains 4 inches, 106mm.  East Africa to Japan, Hawaii, and French Polynesia.  Formerly known as Thais armigera.
