HIEROGLYPH CONE  

Uncommon on barren reefs from 30 to 200 feet.  Shell rusty brown or tan with dark tip and white splashes, spire smooth.  Attains 2 inches.  Animal olive green mottled with black.  Hawaii & the Indo-Pacific.
