HOPWOOD'S CONE

Significant range extension for Hawaii, dredged between 500 to 600 feet in fine sand.  Fresh shells from the West Pacific are extremely variable, white, orange, or brown, with irregular spirals of brown or white.  Attains 1.5 inches, 35mm.  Indonesia to Vanuatu and Hawaii.
