GEOGRAPHY CONE  

Fairly common in sand under slabs, crawling freely at night.  Thin pink shell with coronated spire, obscure brown tented blotches more apparent when young, and broad aperture.  Attains 6.5 inches.  Feeds upon small fishes.  The sting is fatal to humans and live shells should not be handled.   East Africa to the Tuamotus.
