Common under stones in shallow water. Biconic
and glossy,
with keeled axial ribs, interspaces with fine spiral striae, beaded
subsutural band, white protoconch, narrow curved aperture, gray or
lavender with spiral patterns of white and brown. Attains 0.2 inch, 4 mm.
East Africa to Okinawa, Hawaii, and the Tuamotus. Formerly lumped
together with Seminella virginea. |
