LEADEN AUGER

Uncommon at scuba depths.  Glossy brown with closely-spaced pale ribs, subsutural band of deep punctures.  Attains 1.2 inch, 30mm.   Endemic to Hawaii.  Formerly known as a variety of Terebra (Punctoterebra) contigua.
