ARCHIMEDES' AUGER

Rare at scuba depths.  White to cream, wide flat bands.  Attains 2.6 inches, 70mm.  Similar to and long confused with Terebra funiculata.  Solomon Islands and Guam east to Kiribati and Hawaii.
