STUBBORN SEA CUCUMBER

Common under rocks.  Coarsely textured but soft, base color variable, blunt papillae with black tips.  Readily ejects Cuvierian tubules when disturbed.  Attains 12 inches.  Hawai'i & the Indo-Pacific.
