FIJI SEA CUCUMBER

Common on or buried in fine sand.  Cream to brown with conical orange papillae, expels white threads when disturbed.  Attains 16 inches.  Red Sea to Japan and French Polynesia.  Recently arrived in Hawaii, presumably introduced via ballast water or current from the Line Islands.
