| Indigenous sprawling shrub abundant along beaches, dunes, and coastal
cliffs. Leaf morphology varies by locality, flowers may have purple
lines. East Africa to Southern Japan, Hawaii and Polynesia; introduced to
subtropical and tropical North America. Scaevola
sericea is a synonym. |
