CHIN-STRAP FAIRY WRASSE

Forms aggregations near staghorn coral along dropoffs.  Females red with white below, black spot on caudal peduncle fading with age, males orange, green, and white with yellow and red head and blue-black opercular arc and diagonal on pectoral base.  Attains 5 inches.  Eastern Sulawesi and Wakatobi.
