Pectoral fins able to fold against the body unlike the Black Marlin, Makaira
indica. Dorsal fin shorter than body depth. Body near
anal fin thick, not compressed as in the Striped
Marlin, Tetrapterus audax. Tropical & subtropical
Pacific & Indian Ocean. Attains 197 inches & 1998 pounds,
