DOLPHINFISH

Common in small groups in surface waters of the open
ocean. Occasionally spotted near floating objects such as logs or
marine debris. A popular food and sport fish with delicious pink
flesh. Not related to dolphins in any way. Color underwater
is steel blue with scattered dark spots, when landed they appear yellow
with blue-green fins and numerous dots. Males are easily
distinguished with their square forehead and greater size. Attains
a length of 83 inches, weight of 88 pounds, and lifespan of four years.
