Common but rarely seen due to small size, transparent body, and nocturnal habit.  Emerges at night from dark holes to feed upon zooplankton.  Elongate transparent body with rounded caudal fin.  Attains 2 inches.  Endemic to Hawaii.  Formerly known as Pseudamiops gracilicauda.
