ERITREAN BUTTERFLYFISH

Common as pair on coral reefs to 150 feet.  Feeds upon coral polyps, invertebrates, and algae.  Attains 5 inches.  Restricted to the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.  Related to Chaetodon mertensii and C. xanthurus.
