Common on
shallow reefs. Massive, undulating surface without distinct
columns, grayish or yellowish-brown. Calices small and
closely-spaced, with vertical sides, occasionally with green
centers. Bermuda, Florida to Venezuela, & the Gulf of
Mexico. Some regard this a form of Orbicella annularis.
