GREEN SEA SQUIRT

Occurs on hard surfaces exposed to current.  Pores not tiny or crowded, otherwise easily confused with Didemnum molle.  White calcareous spicules provide rigidity and color to the brown tunic, easily torn.  The green color is due to symbiotic bluegreen algae.  Attains 0.5 inch.  South Africa to the Philippines and New Caledonia.
