Favorinus japonicus

Haleiwa Trench, Oahu, 15 feet


Sharks Cove, Oahu, 30 feet


Found feeding on egg masses of sea slugs, especially those of the Spanish Dancer Nudibranch.  Nodular cerata assume the color of the eggs consumed, rhinophores with three collars.  Attains 3/4 inch.  Hawaii and the Indo-Pacific.
