MANGROVE LETTUCE SLUG
Occurs among algae-covered rocks, mangroves, and docks in shallow
protected water. Parapodial folds end at a gap behind the head,
never continuous, foot spotted. Recently described as a new
species, long considered a form of the Common Lettuce Slug, Elysia
crispata. Attains 2 inches. Florida Keys and the Bahamas. |
