FRILLED WORM SNAIL

Common among crustose coralline algae in shallow water.  Coiled or conforming to the substrate, brown with close-set rings crossed by axial ridges, giving it a frilled texture.  Aperture dark brown, diameter 4mm, overall diameter or length of 20mm.  Formerly known as Dendropoma rhyssoconcha.  Endemic to Hawaii.
