Uncommon at scuba depths in coral rubble.
Stout and rugged compared to and long confused with the Ruby
Triton. Attains 2 inches. Endemic Hawaiian subspecies,
parent species occurs in the tropics worldwide. Formerly known
as Cymatium
occidentale. |
