RIVALING TRIPHORID
Common under dead coral at any depth. Gray-tan with dark
purple-brown between beaded spirals, Posterior canal short, closed &
circular, anterior canal closed & strongly recurved. Shells
from shallow water with strongly inflated whorls. Attains 10mm.
Hawaii & the Tropical Pacific. |
