GOLD-BANDED SPINDLE

Uncommon under stones & in dead coral at scuba depths.  Usually encrusted with coralline algae.  Attains 1 inch.  Hawaii, Mauritius, New Caledonia, and Japan.  Formerly known as Dolicholatirus noumeensis or Teralatirus noumeensis.
