BEETS' RISSO

Occurs in algal mat in shallow water and empty shells in sediment and beach drift.  Attains 0.1 inch, 2 mm.  Central Indonesia to Okinawa, Hawaii, and the Tuamotus.  Parashiela beetsi is a synonym.
