BROWN-SCALED DRUPE

Rare under rocks in shallow water.
Feeds upon mussels and other bivalves. Shell often heavily
encrusted with coralline algae, narrower than Semiricinula
turbinoides. Attains 1 inch, 26mm. Hawaii and the Marshall Islands.
Erroneously reported from Hawaii as Morula spinosa. |
