SPOTTED TRITON DRUPE

Common under rocks in shallow water.  Two color forms occur together, cream with black and white axial ribs, or plain cream.  Feeds upon other mollusks by drilling.  Attains 1 inch, 24mm.  Red Sea to Hawaii and French Polynesia.  Formerly known as Maculotriton bracteatus.
