Common under rocks
in shallow water. Two color forms occur together, cream with black
and white axial ribs, or plain cream. Feeds upon other mollusks by
drilling. Attains 1 inch, 24mm.
Red Sea to Hawaii and French Polynesia. Formerly known as Maculotriton bracteatus. |
