HAWAIIAN FRINGED COWRY

Common in dead coral and under stones at scuba depths.  Shell small and cylindrical with purple tips, animal bright orange.  Attains 1/2 inch.  Endemic Hawaiian subspecies, parent species occurs throughout the Indo-Pacific.
