Locally common on sandy reefs
to 130 feet. Glossy brown with irregular white mid-body spiral,
spire white with brown marks. Spire flat with spiral grooves. Animal is bright yellow, periostracum has fine spiral
ridges. Attains 2.5 inches. Hawaii & the Indo-Pacific.
