Uncommon at any depth on the island of
Hawaii & Maui. Broad flat ribs separated by about 12 punctures
becoming obsolete on base, white with
flesh-colored blotches. Attains 1.5 inch. Endemic to Hawaii.
Typical Terebra affinis appear to be intermediate
in form of this
and Terebra peasii. These
distinct forms present in Hawaii are often lumped together with Terebra
(Myurella) affinis. |
