WARTY SAND URCHIN

Uncommon under rocks on sand in shallow water.  An active species that may decorate itself with shell fragments.  Attains 1 inch.  Red Sea to Okinawa, New Zealand, Hawaii, and the Society Islands.  Formerly known as Cyrtechinus verruculatus.
