Hydrozoanthus gracilis

Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, 3 feet

YELLOW ZOANTHID

Tiny polyps forming mats on hard surfaces.  Disc diameter under 1cm.  Known from the Western Pacific including Japan and Indonesia.  Aquarium release was found in Kaneohe Bay in 2017 and later removed.  Formerly known as Parazoanthus gracilis.
