LONG-TENTACLE ANEMONE
| Common on reef flats and slopes in clear water. Low and embedded
within hard reef, tentacles long and tapering, yellowish-tan or brown,
often with purple tips. Preferred by
Amphiprion
chrysopterus. Red Sea to Japan and French Polynesia,
excluding Hawaii. |
