Sprawling shrub of dry rocky coasts and uplands, with sprawling and erect forms, several varieties of which are distinct and endangered.  Flowering infloresence are erect, not recurved as in Chamaesyce multiformis.  Nihoa to Hawaii Island.  Formerly known as Chamaesyce celastroides.
