HAWAII - ENDEMIC
|Annual vine that occurs on open talus slopes among Koa Haole above Makapu'u
after heavy winter rain.
Tiny flowers borne on slender pedicels, sexes in separate clusters, cigar-shaped fruit
with sparse hairs arranged in open clusters resembling a spiky mine.
An uncommon endemic species known from Kaua'i, O'ahu & Moloka'i.
