SALTMARSH CASUARINA or LONGLEAF IRONWOOD

Tall tree planted for reforestation on mountain slopes, now invasive in Hawaii.  Long stout branches, leaves waxy, sheaths with 9 - 18 teeth, cones 0.3 to 0.5 inch wide.  Native to South & East Australia.
