NEPHTHYTIS or ARROWHEAD PLANT

Ornamental vine of shaded disturbed lowlands as a garden escape.  Young plants have variegated arrowhead-shaped leaves eventually replaced by 5-lobed green leaves unless pruned, red inflorescence.  Native to the Tropical Americas.
