TRUMPETFISH
Common on reefs at
any depth where it preys upon small fish during the day.
Hides near gorgonians, large fish, or manmade items. Attains 3 feet.
Bermuda & South Florida to Venezuela and the Gulf of
Mexico. Replaced by Aulostomus
chinensis in the Indo-Pacific & Tropical Eastern Pacific.
