PALETAIL UNICORNFISH kala lōlō
Tsumari-tenguhagi
Fairly common in deep water exposed to
current where it feeds upon zooplankton. Large adults with fine
dots and lines, axis of horn level with eye, white tail with black
center. Juveniles gray with white tail.
Attains 24 inches. Red Sea to Okinawa, Hawai'i, French Polynesia,
and the Galapagos. |
