Nu'u'uli, American Samoa, 6 feet

SMALLMOUTH SQUIRRELFISH 

Occurs on reefs at any depth.  Slender with white stripes wider than red, spiny dorsal fin white with red central band and black spot between first two spines.  Attains 7.5 inches.  Central Indian Ocean east throughout the Tropical Pacific excluding Hawaii.
