Uncommon in dark holes at depths exceeding 50 feet.  Mottled red with black and yellow marks on the spiny dorsal fin to mimic a small fish as it is undulated, luring prey toward the mouth.  Attains 5 inches.  Hawai‘i and the Indo-Pacific.
