WHITESPOTTED EAGLE RAY

Common in areas adjacent to wide expanses of sand or rubble where they use a duck-like snout to root for buried invertebrates.  An attractive species with white spots on the dorsal surface and a long tail with several venomous spines at the base.  Attains width of 130 inches.  Subtropical and Tropical Atlantic.
