Cabo Pulmo, Mexico

Common on shallow sandy reefs & bays.  Females orange with diffuse blue bars, males green with pink scale margins and blue lines on face.  Attains 28 inches.  Indo-Pacific, Red Sea to the Tropical Eastern Pacific, excluding Hawaii.
