Occurs in estuaries and sheltered bays.  Large scales, no stripes, faint dark area above pectoral fin base.  An invasive species introduced to Hawaii from the Marquesas.  Attains 13 inches.  East Africa to the Tuamotus.  Formerly known as Moolgarda engeli.
